Friday, 20 June 2008
Squally weather may continue over the North Bay and coastal regions of the country in the next 24-hours until 12pm today (Friday) due to moderate to strong monsoon and steep pressure gradient over bay, reports UNB.
Weather may gradually improve afterwards, said a special bulletin of Meteorological Department Thursday.
Maritime ports of Chittagong, Cox's Bazar and Mongla have been advised to keep hoisted local cautionary signal number three. Sea will remain moderate, said the bulletin.
All fishing boats and trawlers over the North Bay have been advised to remain close to the coast and proceed with caution until further notice.
