SRGB-organised training on SME banking ends

Training workshops organised by SRG Bangladesh (SRGB)-a leading research and management consulting firm of the country on 'SME Banking Sales Skill' concluded recently, said a press release.
It was a series of training workshop jointly sponsored by IFC-SEDF and BRAC Bank.
The objective of the workshop was to develop selling skill of the unit heads of SME banking division of BRAC Bank.
A total of 309 customer relations officers of BRAC Bank attended the workshop in 12 batches during the May-June period.
Each batch of the trainees received two days' training on SME banking, inter-personal communication and service marketing.
SME expert Rowshon Kamal, communication expert Mahjabeen Ahmad and marketing expert Wazir Alam conducted the workshop.
The major focus of the workshop was on SME sector overview, portfolio and sector identification, SME loan practice, interpersonal communication, relationship building, sales strategies and techniques and service marketing.
