Sri Lanka bundled out for 180

Sri Lanka were bundled out for 180 runs in the first ODI of the three-match series at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Monday. The visiting team were all-out in 40 overs of the match that was curtailed to 43-over a side due to rain. Thisara Perera scored not out 80 off 57 balls featuring 4 fours and six 6s. Shakib Al Hasan, debutant Arafat Sunny and Rubel Hossain claimed two wickets each for 29, 31 and 37 runs respectively while another debutant Al-Amin Hossain and Sohag Gazi took 1 wicket apiece for 34 and 22 runs respectively. Earlier, winning the toss, Bangladesh chose to field first in the first match of the series against the touring side. The match which was scheduled to begin at 1pm started at 2:45 pm Bangladesh time due to wet outfield caused by rain, according to a news agency.
