Sri Lanka lures investors in former war zone

COLOMBO, Nov 30 (LBO): Sri Lanka's markets watchdog, the Securities and Exchange Commission, will hold a forum in the northern Jaffna peninsula to attract more investments from the former war zone. The 'Investor Day' Saturday, is being organised by the SEC in association with the Jaffna Branch of the Colombo Stock Exchange, a statement said. "The lectures will be conducted in Tamil and will give investors basic information required to participate confidently in the capital market," it said.
