SSC, equivalent exams results today

Results of this year's Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations will be published at 4:00 pm today (Saturday), reports bdnews24.com.
Examinees have been advised to collect the results from their educational institutions or websites of the education boards or on the Teletalk mobile phone.
According to the education ministry, a total of 1,206,019 candidates - 627,672 males and 578,347 females - appeared in the exams under 10 education boards in February.
Of them, 211,860 students - 112,119 males and 99,741 females - took Dakhil examinations under the Madrasa Education Board.
Under the technical education board, 77,979 students - 55,369 males and 22,610 females - sat for the exams.
Last year, 1,063,484 candidates sat for the exams under the 10 education boards. Of them, 70.79 per cent students passed on an average.
Sylhet board topped with the highest pass rate of 78.41 per cent while Rajshahi board had the lowest 58.41 per cent.
The success rate was 69.11 per cent in Dhaka board, 85.85 per cent in madrasah board, and 70.90 per cent in technical education board.
