SSC exams on schedule as HC halts DNCC by-polls

The Dhaka education board says its decision to defer the SSC tests in the capital due to Dhaka North City Corporation elections will not be effective anymore after the High Court freeze on the polls, reports bdnews24.com.
Tapan Kumar Sarkar, controller of examinations at Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka, sais about their change of plan after the court ordered the stay on Wednesday.
"The SSC exams will not be deferred if the city corporation polls are not held during the tests. The exams will be held as per schedule," he said.
It means the geography and environment test will be held on Feb 24 and the practical test of music on Feb 25.
The SCC theoretical tests will be held from Feb 1 to 24 and the practical tests from Feb 25 to Mar 4.
