Stakeholders' meet today amid drastic fall in share prices

The Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) will hold a meeting with the stock market-related stakeholders today (Thursday) to discuss the way of stabilising the market after a drastic fall in share prices, reports UNB.
According to the sources, the BSEC will meet with asset management companies and fund managers at 10 am. BSEC Commissioner Mizanur Rahman will preside over the meeting.
On the same day, the commission will meet with some banks, merchant banks, and brokerage houses at 11 am.
The meeting will be presided over by BSEC Commissioner Dr. Sheikh Shamsuddin Ahmed.
Both meetings will discuss the overall situation of the market, sources said.
