Stalker jailed for 1 month

A mobile court in Satkhira has sentenced a man to one month imprisonment for stalking a girl. Kaliganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) and Executive Magistrate Syed Faruqe Ahmed gave the punishment to Bablu Dhali, 42, son of Atiar Dhali of Mukunda Madhusadanpur village in the upazila, on Saturday afternoon. Officer-in-charge of Kaliganj Police Station Golam Rahman said the convicted man was sent to jail, according to UNB.
