Stalkers kill college student in Jessore

A student of Jessore Government City College was knifed to death by stalkers for protesting eve-teasing on the college compound in Jessore on Friday night. The victim was identified as Nurul Islam, 18, son of Afzal Hossain of Collegepara in Sadar upazila. Police and locals said two youths knifed Nurul Islam as he protested the harassment of some girls by the duo at a ‘Barshabaran’ programme at the Shaheed Minar of the college around 9:30pm. Nurul Islam was taken to General Hospital where doctors declared him dead, according to UNB.
