Aniruddh Gupta, global head of Capital Market Solutions Group is arriving in the capital today (Monday) on a short visit.
During his stay Mr Gupta is expected to meet senior government and central bank officials and clients of the Bank in Bangladesh. He will be accompanied by Karby Leggett, director, Sovereign Solutions & Advisory, Capital Markets - Standard Chartered Bank, the bank office said.
Aniruddh Gupta joined Standard Chartered Bank in August 2009 from Goldman Sachs, where he was Managing Director and Head of Structured Solutions for non-Japan Asia. In his current role, he is based in Singapore.
Mr Gupta is responsible for origination and structuring of all non-vanilla products for Capital Markets across the countries where the Standard Chartered Bank operates in. These transactions range from securitisations to highly structured private placements and convertible bonds.
Aniruddh has 10 years of experience in structuring, originating and placing highly complex transactions in the region, including structured debt deals, derivative strategies for risk management and complex portfolio transactions. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Aniruddh has worked in UBS and Deutsche Bank.
