Richa Khanduri, Managing Director - Head of Sales South Asia- Financial Markets, Standard Chartered is in Dhaka for a short visit.
During her stay in the capital, she will be meeting with regulators and key customers of the Bank, Standard Chartered office said.
Ms Khanduri is accompanied by the banks senior regional financial markets executives Muthu Kumar, and Biswajeet Sengupta.
To bring dynamism and prudence in financial risk management, Standard Chartered Bank has been pioneering the development of derivatives in Bangladesh. The Bank completed the first currency option deal in 2006 and has also been the first to introduce interest rate and commodity hedging in the local market. Standard Chartered Bank has also been awarded the Best Bank for Risk Management in Asia by Global Finance in 2009.
