StanChart opens its 3rd one-point collection centre in city

Standard Chartered (StanChart) Bank has opened its one-point collection centre (OCC) at the city's English Road as part of its agreement with the Dhaka Electric Supply Authority (DESA) last year.
The one-point collection centre will make it easy for customers to pay DESA, DESCO and BTTB bills under one roof through the centre in less time.
The other two collection centres are located on the Standard Chartered branch premises at Motijheel and Mirpur.
Chairman of DESA Brig General Nazrul Hasan and Ahmed A Shah jointly inaugurated the OCC.
StanChart's Director, OCC, Faisal Rahman, Director, Transaction Banking, Mirza A Rahman and other senior officials of both the organisations were present on the occasion, said a press release.
