Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) head of Origination and Client Coverage, and Wholesale Banking Bala Swaminathan arrived in Dhaka Sunday for an official visit, said a press release.
Mr Swaminathan, based in Singapore of the bank, looks after the wholesale banking in South Asia and Southeast Asia.
He also works on group strategy with Peter Sands, the Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the bank.
He joined SCB in February 2006 as corporate banking head of India and South Asia from ICICI Bank.
During his visit in the city, he met senior officials and several external stakeholders of the bank.
