StanChart supports families of martyred army officers

Standard Chartered Bank has extended its support to the families of the valiant Army Officers martyred in the fateful BDR incident earlier this year.
Recently in an informal ceremony at the Dhaka Cantonment, the Bank handed over Insurance Claim Cheques to the families of those martyred Army Officers who were Credit Cardholders of the Bank. The cheques were jointly handed over by Maj. Gen. A.K.M. Muzahid Uddin, Adjutant General of Bangladesh Army and Mr. Sandeep Bose, Head of Consumer Banking & the acting CEO of Standard Chartered Bank.
The occasion was also attended by senior Army Officers, senior executives of the Bank as well as top management of the two Insurance Partners of Standard Chartered, Pragati Insurance & ALICO. These insurance claims for the martyred officers were processed under special consideration in light of the unusual circumstances.
