StanChart terms a news report untrue

The news-report on Standard Chartered carried by a local TV channel on 22nd September was factually incorrect, said a press release of the bank.
The report was related to a repossession of a vehicle from a defaulting client and it also stated that arrest warrant had been issued in the name of the bank's CEO.
The Bank will pursue appropriate legal recourse against the parties involved and will continue to treat defaulters in accordance to the law, the release said.
