StanChart to set up one-point centres to collect DESA bills

Standard Chartered (StanChart) Bank's Transaction Banking has signed an agreement with Dhaka Electric Supply Authority (DESA) recently, said a press release.
Under the deal, StanChart's Transaction Banking will establish one-point collection centres on the DESA premises to collect all kinds of utility bills, including DESA's electricity bills.
DESA Chairman Brigadier General Md Nazrul Hasan and Director and Head of Client Relationships of Standard Chartered Bank Ahmed A Shah attended the signing ceremony and spoke on the occasion.
StanChart's Director and Head of Transaction Banking Mirza Aminur Rahman and DESA Company Secretary Md Rafiul Alam signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
