Standard Bank approves 20pc stock dividend

Standard Bank Ltd approved 20 per cent stock dividend for the shareholders for the year 2009 at its 11th annual general meeting (AGM) held in the city recently, says a press release.
Chairman of the bank Kazi Akramuddin Ahmed presided over the meeting. Vice Chairman of the bank Md Zahidul Haque, Audit Committee Chairman Mohammad Shamsul Alam, directors, Managing Director SA Farooqui, Additional Managing Director Md Nazmus Salehin, shareholders, guests were present on the occasion.
Company Secretary AFM Nizamul Islam Chowdhury conducted the meeting.
