Standard Bank board holds EC meet

The 56th meeting of the executive committee (EC) of the board of directors of Standard Bank Limited was held in the city recently.
The EC Chairman Kamal Mostafa Chowdhury presided over the meeting, said a press release.
The meeting took various decisions relating to investment policy in the fields of trade, commerce and industries.
The EC meeting also approved proposals received from different branches in respect of providing working capital for industries and other import, export and commercial trading businesses.
Among others, EC members Messrs Abdul Ahad, Nurul Haque Sowdagor, Farzana Yousuf and Shaikh Mesba Uddin and Managing Director SA Farooqui, Deputy Managing Director Md Nazmus Salehin and Secretary of the Board AFM Nizamul Islam Chowdhury were present at the meeting.
