Standard Bank holds 114th board meet

The 114th board meeting of Standard Bank Limited (SBL) was held at its head office in the city recently.
Chaired by SBL board of directors' Chairman Kazi Akramuddin Ahmed, the meeting was attended, among others by Vice-chairman Mohammad Shamsul Alam, directors Kamal Mostafa Chowdhury, Abdul Ahad, Nurul Haque Sowdagor, Ferdous Ali Khan, Farzana Yousuf, Md Ziaul Haque Khondker and Md Harun Salam, Managing Director Mosharraf Hossain, Chief Banking Consultant Sahazada Syed Nizamuddin Ahmed, DMD SA Farooqui, and Executive Vice-president and Board Secretary AFM Nizamul Islam Chowdhury.
The board took various important decisions in the meeting in connection with the bank's investment policy in the field of trade, commerce and industries.
The board also approved proposals received from different branches in respect of financing of working capital for industries and other import, export and commercial trading businesses.
