Standard Bank holds board meeting

The 117th meeting of the board of directors of the Standard Bank Ltd was held at the head office of the bank recently.
Standard Bank Chairman Kazi Akramuddin Ahmed presided over the meeting.
Vice Chairman Mohammad Shamsul Alam, directors Kamal Mostafa Chowdhury, Abdul Ahad, Nurul Haque Sowdagor, Ferdous Ali Khan, Farzana Yousuf and Md Ziaul Haque Khondker, Managing Director Mosharraf Hossain, Chief Banking Consultant Sahazada Syed Nizamuddin Ahmed, DMD SA Farooqui and EVP-cum-Board Secretary AFM Nizamul Islam Chowdhury were also present at the meeting.
The board took various important decisions regarding the bank's investment policy in the field of trade, commerce and industry and approved proposals received from different branches in respect of financing of working capital for industries and other import, export and other commercial trading.
