Standard Bank managers asked to achieve target

Branch managers, executives and officers of Standard Bank Limited have been advised to become more serious in their profession for achieving the target for the year 2007.
Managing Director of the bank Mosharraf Hossain gave the directive while speaking at the Half-Yearly Managers' Conference-2007 of the bank in the city recently, said a press release.
Chairman of the board of directors of the bank Kazi Akramuddin Ahmed was present at the conference as the chief guest.
Chief Banking Consultant of the bank SS Nizamuddin Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director SA Farooqui and Executive Vice President and Board Secretary AFM Nizamul Islam Chowdhury were present at the conference.
All branch managers and executives of the head office of the bank were also present at the conference.
Addressing the conference, the chairman laid emphasis on preparedness to face global challenge in the days to come.
