Standard Bank, Money Gram sign remittance deal

Standard Bank Limited and Money Gram Payment Systems Inc. USA signed an agreement for drawing arrangement of inward foreign currency remittance at the head office of the bank in the city recently.
Former managing director of Standard Bank Mosharraf Hossain and Money Gram Manager (Relationship and Business Development) Capil Chugh signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
Also present in the signing ceremony were Chairman of the board of directors of the bank Kazi Akramuddin Ahmed, Managing Director (CC) SA Farooqui, Deputy Managing Director Md Nazmus Salehin, Executive Vice-President Md Abul Hossain, Vice-President Md Nazrul Islam, SEO and In-charge of Remittance Department Rebeka Sultana and Money Gram local representative Shafiul Azam.
Under the agreement, Bangladeshis living in the USA, the United Kingdom, Middle East and other 1,000 locations all over the world will be able to remit their money to their relatives and other stakeholders living in Bangladesh for personal and official needs.
