Standard Chartered opens kiosk in city

Standard Chartered Bank has launched a financial kiosk at Ring Road, Shyamoli in the city recently, said a company statement. Group head of personal banking and chief marketing officer of the bank James Galloway inaugurated the financial kiosk. The kiosk equipped with ATM, bills-pay machine, contact centre hotline and internet banking facility. There are service staffs at the cubicle to address customer queries and requests. Group head of new business Anup Suri, GM marketing of India and South Asia Dheeraj Ahluwalia, head of consumer banking for Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka Sandeep Bose and other senior officials of the bank were also present on the occasion. Sandeep Bose said, "At Standard Chartered, the key pillar of the bank's strategy is 'customer centricity' and over the past, consumer banking has taken many steps towards becoming a business that effectively puts its customers at the heart of everything. Introducing the concept of financial kiosk in Bangladesh once again reiterates our commitment to our customers in this country."
