StandChart opens banking operation at US Embassy

Standard Chartered Bank opened the banking operation booth at the US Embassy in the city last Thursday, said a press release.
The opening will help the US Embassy have access to wide range of consumer and wholesale banking products of the bank.
The bank provides specialised services to major bilateral or multilateral organisations in the country and the takeover shows the bank's commitment to this sector. Embassy of the United States of America Charge d' Affaires Geeta Pasi and Standard Chartered Bank (Bangladesh) CEO Osman Morad inaugurated the bank booth at US Embassy. Embassy of the United States of America Acting Management Counselor Calvin D Levo and Head of Client Relationships Ahmed A Shah and Head of Shared Distribution of Standard Chartered Bank Tanvir Hyder Chaudhury were also present at the opening ceremony among other senior officials of the bank.
