Start CETP work in a week: Amu

Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu on Monday ordered the contracting firms to start the construction work of Central Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP) at Savar tannery industrial park within a week. “If there is any dilly-dally in implementing the order, the responsible persons won’t be spared,” he said. The minister said this while addressing a meeting at his ministry in the city. The minister urged the entrepreneurs to start relocation process of the tanneries from city’s Hazaribagh to Savar, according to a news agency.
