Starwood extends Dhaka Sheraton management contract

Starwood Hotel & Resorts, the parent company of Dhaka Sheraton Hotel, has extended its management contract with Bangladesh Services Limited (BSL), the owning company of Dhaka Sheraton Hotel for another 3 months. The oldest luxury hotel will now be de-flagged on July 1, 2009.
The extension came after a request from BSL. Dhaka Sheraton Hotel management contract expired on December 31, 2008. It was extended for three months until March 31, 2009 and again the contract now has been extended for another 3 months till June 30, 2009, says a press release.
