State-sponsored terrorism spread across country: Fakhrul

Friday, 7 February 2014

BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir alleged that state-sponsored terrorism has spread across the country as the Prime Minister is defending the ‘terrorist acts of her party men’.
“Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is encouraging state-sponsored terrorism by defending the terrorist activities of her party men,” he told a discussion Friday, according to a news agency.
Accusing the Prime Minister of instigating extrajudicial killing, the BNP spokesman warned Sheikh Hasina that one day she will have to be accountable for the unlawful killing.
Jagpa, one of the partners of the BNP-led 19-party alliance, arranged the programme at the National Press Club.
Nitrating some incidents of extrajudicial killing, Fakhrul criticised the government for killing opposition leaders and activists in crossfire and by joint forces.
