Stern actions against criminals in Rangpur div ordered

RANGPUR, May 11 (BSS): Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Rangpur Range Binoy Krishna Bala has ordered Police to take stern actions against the criminals for further improving law and order situation in Rangpur division. He directed police to conducted duties with utmost sincerity, professionalism and cautioned for taking stern actions against those if found responsible for any negligence or irregularities towards the directions. He was addressing the monthly Range Conference of Rangpur Range of Bangladesh Police at the conference room of the Superintendent of Police (SP) of Rangpur here in the town Tuesday as the chief guest. Additional DIG of Rangpur Range Lutfor Rahman was present as the special guest and all SPs and senior police officials from Rangpur division took part in the conference. The police officials discussed the prevailing overall law and order situation in all eight districts under Rangpur Range when the DIG ordered the concerned SPs to further improve the situation by conducting their duties sincerely. He also directed the police officials for ensuring peaceful law and order during the ensuing union Parishad elections in all eight districts under Rangpur division in a free, fair and impartial manner.
