Stern actions against troublemakers ahead of polls: IGP

BARISHAL, Aug 27 (BSS): Inspector General of Police (IGP) Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun on Sunday said that stern actions will be taken if anyone tries to destabilize law and order situation of the country ahead of the general elections.
"During the election period, police will perform their duties under the Election Commission (EC)," he told the journalists after a special welfare meeting with senior officers and policemen at district police lines here.
