Stress: a silent killer

Tuesday, 18 August 2015

Stress has become common nowadays and every day we encounter it in our urban life. We have to manage stress and live a healthy life. Stress can badly mess up with our physical and mental health so we need to tame this monster. Even short-lived and minor stress has a bad impact on our overall well-being so we should try to pinpoint those moments and try to cope with it unscathed. Chronic stress will impede our normal day-to-day activities and reduce the quality of our life.  We should rest our body, even if it is for some minutes or we can take a walk as vigorous physical activities allay our stress.  We should talk with our friends and family about our problems. We can write our problems in a diary as jotting down thought calms down us. Often talking does the magic and helps us to calm down.  Stress is sometimes good as it helps us to perform better. So we should master our stress instead of being a slave to it. We should follow simple life-style which eliminates the chances of facing stress. We should learn to say no to the work and commitment which we do not really want to get involved in.  Let us adopt a positive attitude towards life and live a life with less stress.
