Strong demand from all sections

FE Report
There was a strong demand in the week's sale from all sections of the market. Blenders/Pcketeers were quite active along with more interest from Pakistan.
Loose tea buyers lent a fair support. As a result, prices were higher with less withdrawals. Well made good liquoring Dusts were a dearer market.
CTC LEAF: 22,519 packages and (435 packages of Old Season) met with a strong demand at dearer rates.
BROKENS: Well made Brokens continued to be a strong feature and were dearer by Tk 2.00 to Tk 3.00. A few selective lines were substantially dearer. All others sold well often at slightly higher rates. There was much less withdrawals in this category.
FANNINGS: Well made good liquoring Fannings were strongly competed for and were generally dearer by Tk 2.00 to Tk 3.00 and these could be quoted between Tk 82 and Tk 85. Other varieties were also a stronger market and sold at slightly higher rates.
CTC DUST: 3,543 packages and (133 packages of Old Seasons) on offer met with an improved demand. Well made good liquoring types were a dearer market particularly the Ds and CDs. Others sold at around last levels with the Plainer liquoring types easing slightly. Both Blenders and Loose tea buyers lent good support.
