Student commits suicide for not getting GPA-5 in Ctg

CHITTAGONG, May 17 (BSS): A student committed suicide after failing to get GPA-5 in the SSC examination in the port city's Mehedibag area Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Sourabh (17), who hailed from Bera of Pabna district.
Sourabh recently came to the residence of his mother Sanjida Khatun who is a senior staff nurse of Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH).
"As we went to meet him after the result was published, we found the door of his room locked", they said adding that Sourabh was found hanging with the ceiling fan when his mother broke open the door.
Nayek Jahangir of CMCH Police outpost said Sourabh was rushed to CMCH where the attending doctors declared him dead.
