Student held for harassing girl

NATORE, Apr 27: One madrasah student was arrested for harassing a girl student Asma Khatun of Kafuria Degree College in Natore Sadar Upazila of the district. The arrestee was identified as Madrasah student Belal Hossain Sani, son of Nazrul Islam of village Dastanabad in the Upazila. Police said, Belal was harassing the girl and attempted to rape her. Local people rescued her. Principal of Kafuria degree college Md. Saidur Rahman informed the matter to Natore thana police on April 26. On information, Natore thana police rushed to the house of Belal and arrested his father. Later, Belal Hossain was arrested and his father was released. 2 drug peddlers arrested Another message adds: Two people were arrested with hemp in Gurudashpur Upazila of Natore district Monday. The arrested were identified as Afsar Shiekh (52) of Molla Bazar and Intaj Ali (27) of Jumainagar in the Upazila.
