Student killed by microbus in city

Students of Green University in Mirpur have blocked the Rokeya Sharani in Agargaon after one of their colleagues was reportedly killed by a microbus.
The victim’s identity is yet to be ascertained. Kafrul Police Station OC Abdul Qayum said the microbus hit the road divider and was overturned, falling on some passersby, according to a news agency. Four people were injured in the accident, he said.
‘Payel’, a journalism student at the university, said the student who died was in English department but could not give a name. The injured were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
