Student killed in football match clash

KHAGRACHRI, May 11 (BSS): Rubel Hossain, a student of class nine of Guimara High School under Ramghar Upazila was killed in a clash of a football match at Hatimura village under Ramgar Upazila in the hilly districton Tuesday. Local people said a football match was held at Hatimora high school ground on Monday (May 9). Running the game an altercation and counter altercation started between the players of two football teams. Tariqul Islam and Hiro Miah Son of Ali Ahmed struck on the head of Rubel Hossain with a stick. Seriously injured Rubel Hossain was admitted to Manikchari Upazila Health Complex. Later, Rubel was shifted to the Chittagong Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
