A university student was stabbed to death by unknown assailants at Uttara in the city Monday, police said.
Witnesses said a gang of three to four miscreants intercepted Rashidul Islam (29), a student of Darul Ihsan University, at Sector 6 adjacent to Rajuk Uttara Model School and College while he was going to house building area on a rickshaw at about 9:30am.
The criminals pounced on the victim and stabbed him indiscriminately, leaving him critically injured.
