Students asked to pursue knowkdge

Vice Chancellor of Dhaka University Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique Wednesday asked the students to build themselves as competent citizens by acquiring proper education to face challenges of future, reports BSS. He was addressing the freshers' reception function of Department of Statistics, Biostatistics and Informatics in its auditorium. Dean of Science Faculty Prof Dr Mohammad Ali Mollah, teachers and students of the department, among others, addressed the function with Department Chairman Prof Nitai Chakrabarty in the chair. Describing the students of the university as most brilliant among students of the country, the DU VC said the university is giving huge opportunities to flourish their talents.
