Students of seven colleges suspend protest

Students from the seven government colleges in the capital, demanding the issuance of an ordinance for the Dhaka Central University (DCU), suspended their protest following assurances from the Ministry of Education.
They announced the suspension at a press conference in front of Dhaka College on Tuesday afternoon.
Earlier, the students from the seven colleges observed sit-in in front of the Shikkha Bhaban on Sunday and Monday, demanding proclamation of the DCU Ordinance.
