Students vacate dorms as RU shut over violence

Residential students at Rajshahi University vacated their dormitories on Monday morning as the authorities declared the university closed the night before for an indefinite period following campus violence. The students left the residential halls with belongings following an order to vacate those by 8:00am Monday. Meanwhile, the authorities sealed off the gates of Syed Ameer Ali Hall, Munnujan Hall, Shah Mukhdum Hall, Nawab Abdul Latif Hall and Begum Khaleda Zia Hall, according to a news agency.
