SUB seminar for law graduates held in Ctg

CHITTAGONG, Jan 22: An exclusive seminar on 'Alternative careers for Law Graduates' was held at the Southern University Bangladesh today. Department of Law of the SUB organised the seminar.
The seminar was presided over by Law Department adviser Prof Mohiuddin Khaled while the keynote paper was presented by founder and treasurer of the university Sarwar Jahan.
Sarwar Jahan highlighted the salient features of the alternative careers for the law students through digital presentation.
Many of our people think that there is no alternative for law graduates except traditional law practice in the court. But there are many opportunities for law graduates as well, he said.
Lawyers have successfully found positions in all sorts of related fields like education and academic administration, banking and finance, government and politics, human resources, legal consulting, legal writing, editing and publishing.
Over 60 students participated in the seminar. Atiqur Rahman, head of law department, and other faculty members were also present.
