SUB to play vital role in Ctg higher edn field : Jabed

State Minister for Land Saifuzzaman Chowdhury Jabed said study under private universities in Europe and America is most desirable for every students. Private universities will play a vital role in higher education in Bangladesh. In Chittagong Southern University Bangladesh (SUB) will be in leading position in this regard.
The state minister made the observation while speaking as the chief guest at the farewell reception of the new graduates of the Faculty of Engineering Department of the Southern University, Bangladesh at the auditorium of the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh, Chittagong Saturday, said a press release.
Head of the civil engineering department of the SU and former president of Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh, Chittagong Prof Ali Ashraf presided over the function.
SU vice-chancellor Prof Muhammad Ali, CDA Chairman MA Salam, SU Founder Sarwar Jahan, dean of Engineering faculty of SU Prof Sharifuzzaman, Prof Md Mozzammel Hoque attended as the special guests at the function.
President of SU trust Khalilur Rahman inaugurated the farewell reception, the release added.
