After that, as the tribunal wanted to set date for the hearing of the case, at first prosecutor Sultan Mahmud Simon and later defence counsel Mizanul Islam pleaded for adjourning the hearing till August 10. ‘What will we do till that day than?’ said Justice Obaidul Hassan, chairman of the three-member panel of the ICT-2 asked. After that the tribunal set August 6 for holding next hearing in this trial. Subhan, 77, was indicted on December 31, 2013, on 9 counts of crimes against humanity by the ICT-1. On March 27, 2014, the ICT-1 transferred the case to ICT-2 for quick disposal.
