The government will soon take steps to close down substandard diagnostic centres, said Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim on Thursday. “Quality services are not provided at many diagnostic centres set up in the district towns and rural areas, resulting in the sufferings of people. This type of suffering is not expected,” he said. The minister was exchanging views with the physicians and officials of the National Institute of Neuroscience and Hospital in the city, according to a news agency.
