Sufia Kamal\\\'s birthday today

Today (Friday) is the 103rd birthday of poet Sufia Kamal, the pioneer of Bengali women's emancipation, reports BSS.
Bangladesh Mohila Parishad will celebrate the day in a befitting manner. The programme includes memorial lecture, awarding Poet Sufia Kamal medal and cultural function.
The Bangla Academy has also undertaken programmes to celebrate her birthday.
