Sugar advances in London

LONDON, June 21 (Bloomberg): Sugar rose for the 11th session in the past 13 days in London on speculation that demand will remain buoyant. White, or refined, sugar for August delivery advanced as much as $5.20, or 1 per cent, to $515.60 a tonne on the Liffe exchange and was at $513.60 at 9:38 am local time.
Raw sugar for October delivery climbed 0.1 per cent to 15.39 cents a pound on ICE Futures US in New York.
