Sugar eases on origin sales, robustas dip

LONDON, Jan 5 (Reuters): ICE sugar eased on producer selling Thursday, while robusta coffee dipped holding above a two-month low on Vietnamese crop pressure, and cocoa eased in thin volume amid expectations of further hedging from Ivory Coast.
ICE front-month raw sugar futures edged down 0.13 cent or 0.5 per cent to 24.29 cents a lb in choppy dealings at 1225 GMT, below a seven-week peak of 24.65 cents per lb touched Wednesday.
