Sugarcane crushing at Panchagarh Sugar Mills begins

PANCHAGARH, Nov 29: Sugarcane crushing at Panchagarh Sugar Mills began Friday. Sources said the production target of the mills for 2008-09 fiscal has been fixed at over 7860 tonnes sugar by crushing 36000 tonnes of sugarcane. The recovery rate has been fixed at 8.0 per cent for the current season.
Managing Director of the Mills Md Salim Ul Alam presided over the function.
