Summit LNG signs $100m contract with Geocean, MacGregor

Summit LNG Terminal has signed a $100 million turnkey contract with the consortium of Geocean SAS and MacGregor to build infrastructure for its floating LNG storage and regasification terminal in Cox's Bazar. The project is scheduled to be completed in 16 months. Summit Power International is the largest independent power producer in Bangladesh, representing approximately 21 per cent of the private power market with consolidated generating capacity of 1,160 MW.
