Monday, 14 December 2009
THE on-going Copenhagen Summit on climate change, arranged by the Inter-Governmental Panel of Climate Change (IPCC), should seriously address the problems of low-lying countries like Bangladesh.
Due to the global warming, caused mostly by the developed nations, the sea level is rising sharply and as a result, the small islands and low-lying countries are threatened to be submerged in the near future.
The developing countries has chosen the Copenhagen Summit as a platform to seek compensations from the developed nations. Climate change is the main focus all over the world. The developed nations should come forward to help save mankind. It is the high time for putting hands together to save the world from the ravages of climate change.
