Summit Power appoints new vice-chairman

Summit Power Limited appointed Md Latif Khan as the new vice-chairman of the company in its board meeting Saturday, said a press release.
He pursued BA in Public Administration from the University of Dhaka and subsequently left for higher studies in US in 1981. There, he worked for over 15 years in the financial sector.
He was a stockbroker and a financial analyst at Prudential Insurance of America where he received numerous achievement awards. He also worked as a financial officer at Wells Fargo Bank in California.
He returned to Bangladesh in 1997 and joined Summit Group as the managing director of Summit Shipping Limited and also as a director of Summit Group.
Mr Khan was born in 1958 in Dhaka.
